In March 2001 Dave Riley teamed with Curbmate to bring added expertise in the decorative curbing as well as 11 years of knowledge, on what it takes to have and run a successful curbing business.
Dave Riley has owned a successful curbing installation company for 17 years and is dedicated to teaching contractors how to have a profitable curbing business without the high pressure sales tactics. In fact, he will train anyone whether they purchased our equipment or someone elses.
Renew-Crete is a company that specializes in manufacturing and distributing Renew-Crete decorative concrete restoration and resurfacing materials. Renew-Crete products are manufactured using the highest quality materials with strict quality control. We manufacture user-friendly products that save contractors time and money. In March 2001 Dave Riley teamed with Renew-Crete Systems to design strategic marketing and training courses to teach contractors not only how to install Renew-Crete products, but also business aspects like setting up a new business, finding customers, estimating, and running a successful profitable decorative concrete business. Dave Riley found from his own experience, most manufactures of decorative concrete products were only interested in profits for themselves and not profits for their contractors. Their goals were to gather large groups of people to training seminars and sell them packages or large amounts of material in order to use their products. Thereafter they would pat you on the back and send you on your way. Then, their focus moved on to the next group.
Renew-Crete’s goal is to offer each customer regardless if they purchased 1 bag of product or a package, the same training and support so they would become successful and continue buying products from us based on our help and support. There is never a minimum purchase requirement from our company.
Mr. Dave Riley has extensive experience in the decorative concrete installation business. Based on his knowledge & familiarity of the industry, he realized many resurfacing projects using concrete and other top coat products previously available were either cost prohibitive or not suited for the application. The biggest problem with most top coat resurfacing products was that they did not allow for movement in the existing substrate without causing cracking, peeling and flaking of the top coat product. Additionally, the methods used to achieve certain looks using concrete sealers often provided an unsafe surface for some applications. RubberDek was designed to solve both of these scenarios. RubberDek is a top coat resurfacing product that allows for a reasonable amount of movement in the substrate surface without causing cracking, peeling and flaking to the top coat surface. RubberDek also provides a select number of colors producing a decorative resurfacing product that leaves the top surface in a safe non-slip condition.
